
Caitlin Gunn and Kidiocus Carroll are doctoral students at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities in feminist studies and american studies programs respectively. With an academic and personal interest in womanist literature, cultural critique, and black social media and blogging, they attempt to navigate the complexities of gender, race, politics, religion, and sexuality through a womanist lens. Both are McNair Scholars who graduated from Beloit College in 2014, Carroll with a BA in sociology and Gunn with a BA in religious studies and women's and gender studies.
